The Focused Intervention program provides targeted therapy in order to make gains in a specific area for children and adults. Examples of target areas for children include but are not limited to toilet training, learner readiness, behavior management, communication training, reinforcement systems, and executive functioning skills. Examples of target areas for adults include self determination and advocacy, career path development and employment, peer relationships and socialization, health and safety, and continuing education and lifelong learning. Clients are seen 1 to 8 hours per week based on the recommendation of the Including Kids staff. Including Kids will bill medical insurance if ABA therapy is covered on the insurance plan.
