In this workshop, we will discuss maximizing academic acquisition in an inclusive learning setting through principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Participants will receive training on strategies to support learners transitioning from a 1:1 to a group setting, improving rate in the acquisition of skills for all learners through self-monitoring, peer tutoring and personalized instruction, implementation of classroom data collection procedures, and motivating learners through individual and group behavior contingencies.
In addition, participants will receive the opportunity to collaborate with other attendees in identifying and evaluation principles of ABA currently in place within your own classroom and generate plans to implement the principles and skills acquired during the workshop to better meet your classroom needs.
Certificates of attendance available upon request!
