Spotlight Series Workshop - Including Kids Autism Center

Spotlight Series Workshops
for Community Members

Monthly workshops are presented for family and community members to learn to facilitate development of specific skills that are vital to our children’s success in the community. Workshop topics focus on behavior, academics, social skills, self-help skills, communication and family support.

We actively fundraise to be able to provide these services FREE of charge. Childcare for parents attending the workshop is included. We often offer free CEUs for behavior analysts and CPEs for teachers depending on the workshop topic. Registration is required in order to attend this workshop.

This workshop is taught by licensed experts and therapists who facilitate conversation and initiate role playing activities so that you and your child can practice social skills in a friendly environment before shifting into a community situation. Skills that attendees learn at this seminar cover a wide range of topics, are transferable to any domain and will benefit you and your child throughout your lives. The Spotlight Series Workshop also takes place in a group setting, allowing you and your child the opportunity to interact and practice with other families that are part of the InKids community.

Other free events include our Saturday support workshops and our community outreach initiatives, which can be found on our calendar, such as: Parents night out, babysitting courses (for people interested in caring for children on the autism spectrum), and autism-friendly social events.
