This past weekend, Including Kids saw the culmination of weeks and months of work come to life at our annual fund raising Gala, Cirque Des Including Kids, which was held on April 25th at the Omni Hotel in Houston and sponsored by Altus Infusion. With each daisy properly placed, we embarked on a night accentuated by stilt walkers, ribbon dancers, dream-like lighting, and table linens of lush purples and magentas. The theme this year was a way to further instill our “Rising to New Heights” campaign into the minds of new and returning supporters. Our ultimate goal was to go above (literally, in this case) and beyond to show how far we’ve come, and how far we still plan on going on behalf of our community. Having a stand alone building from which to provide our one-to-one therapeutic services, additional funds for a tuition assistance program, and expanding our current Community Outreach Services are just a few of the ways that we hope to bring new opportunities to children and families with autism in the future. These dreams are lofty goals to have, but as the night proved this past weekend, it’s okay to reach for the stars because you, our loyal supporters, believe in Including Kids, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the time and the financial support that you decided to invest in a most worthy cause, a cause worth rising up and celebrating. With 1 in 68 children now affected by autism, we can see why each of you found it in your heart to give. If you would like to become more involved in furthering our mission as we embark on a Capital Campaign and our next fund raising ventures, please contact our Director of Development, Aaron Javener at 281-852-0501.
And once again, we couldn’t have made the night a success without your generosity. I can’t put into words how much it matters. We appreciate your support, and we hope that this is the beginning of many new relationships. If you have any feedback regarding the event, please let us know. We hope to see all of your faces soon. Come tour our facility! See the difference we are making!

A Special Note to Our Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to help us with our “Star Performers” Victory Wall. It was lovely to see many of the faces represented with a positive story beside them. They are the reason we spend the time putting these events together, and all the glitz and glitter doesn’t outshine each one of your children. They make us smile with the daily progress they make! We can’t wait to see where the future takes Including Kids! Thank you for being a part of our team. To those of you who were able make it to the event, we hope you enjoyed it, and to those of you who weren’t able to attend, we hope to see you next year!
